Aurra is a WhatsApp banking assistant. You get a personal virtual bank account number to receive transfers, then send money, buy airtime, or pay bills by chatting naturally on WhatsApp. Every transaction requires your 4-digit PIN.
Yes. Aurra never holds your money directly. All financial infrastructure is provided by Anchor — a CBN-licensed institution. Your PIN is encrypted with bcrypt and your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
If your network drops after you confirm a transaction, Aurra processes it server-side. If your wallet was debited but the transfer failed, your money is automatically refunded within seconds. You can always check your transaction history on the dashboard.
Yes! Aurra understands English, Nigerian Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa. Just type or send a voice note in whatever language you're comfortable with. For example, you can say "abeg send 10k to Access Bank 0987654321" and Aurra will process it.
Your account is automatically locked for 30 minutes after three wrong PIN attempts. This protects you from unauthorised access. You can wait for the lockout to expire, or reset your PIN through the settings page if you've forgotten it.
Transfer fees are tiered: ₦30 for transfers below ₦10,000 (no stamp duty). Above ₦10K, you pay an Aurra fee plus ₦50 government stamp duty — ₦50 Aurra for ₦10K–₦20K (₦100 total), ₦60 Aurra for ₦20K–₦50K (₦110 total), ₦100 Aurra for ₦50K+ (₦150 total). Savings Box early break fee is 1% of the amount, but you get 1 free break per box. Airtime, data, and Aurra-to-Aurra transfers are completely free. Bill payments cost ₦50.
Yes. Just say "Buy ₦500 MTN airtime for 08123456789" and Aurra will process it. You can buy airtime for any number on any network — MTN, Airtel, Glo, or 9mobile. It's free.
When you sign up, you get a personal virtual bank account number. Transfer money to that number from any Nigerian bank — GTBank, Access, Zenith, First Bank, UBA, Kuda, Opay, or any other bank. The money auto-credits to your wallet instantly. Deposit fee is 0.7%, capped at ₦700.
