Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 May 2026

Please read these terms carefully before using Aurra. By creating an account or sending a message to Aurra on WhatsApp, you agree to be bound by these terms. Questions? Email contact@aurra.online.

1. About Aurra

Aurra is a WhatsApp-based AI payment assistant that enables users to send money to Nigerian bank accounts, purchase airtime, and buy mobile data — all through natural conversation on WhatsApp.

Aurra is not a bank, a financial institution, or a licensed deposit-taking entity. We facilitate payments through Paystack, a payment service provider licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). We do not hold your money.

2. Eligibility

To use Aurra, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a resident of Nigeria or hold a valid Nigerian bank account
  • Own or have authorisation to use the WhatsApp number you register with
  • Own or have authorisation to use the debit card you link to your account
  • Provide accurate, truthful registration information

3. Account Registration and Security

Creating an account: You must provide your real name, a valid Nigerian WhatsApp number, and create a 4-digit PIN.

Your PIN is your responsibility: Your PIN authorises every transaction. Do not share it with anyone — including Aurra support staff. We will never ask for your PIN via any channel.

Account security: You are responsible for all activity on your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at admin@aurra.online.

Lockout policy: Three consecutive incorrect PIN entries will lock your account for 30 minutes. This is a security feature we cannot override on demand.

One account per person: You may only hold one Aurra account. Creating multiple accounts is grounds for immediate termination.

4. Linking Your Card

To transact on Aurra, you must link a valid Nigerian debit card. By linking your card you authorise Aurra and Paystack to charge that card for transactions you initiate and confirm with your PIN.

A one-time tokenization fee of ₦50 is charged when linking your card. This amount is refunded to your linked card immediately after successful tokenization.

Your card details are stored securely by Paystack on their PCI-DSS certified infrastructure. Aurra only holds a secure token reference — not your actual card number.

5. Transactions

Authorisation: Every transaction requires your 4-digit PIN. By entering your PIN, you irrevocably authorise the transaction.

Double confirmation: Before asking for your PIN, Aurra will always show you the full transaction details (recipient, amount, fee, total). You must reply YES before being asked for your PIN.

Transaction limits: A daily transaction limit of ₦500,000 applies. We reserve the right to adjust limits for security reasons.

Fees:

  • Airtime and data purchases: Free (₦0)
  • Bank transfers below ₦5,000: ₦30
  • Bank transfers ₦5,000 – ₦9,999: ₦50
  • Bank transfers ₦10,000 and above: ₦100

Finality: Completed bank transfers cannot be reversed once the recipient's bank confirms receipt. Always double-check recipient details before confirming.

Failed transactions: If your card is charged but the transaction fails (e.g. bank transfer rejected), you will receive an automatic refund within 15 minutes. Refunds for airtime/data failures are processed within 24 hours.

Session timeout: Transaction sessions expire after 10 minutes of inactivity. You will need to start a new request if your session expires.
